method for dividing mature cardiocrinum gigantium?

Dear PBS,
Please let me know the best method for dividing a mature (multi-trunk)
cardiocrinum gigantium. FYI, the plant has flowered twice, and has
about 6 stems that appear to be from bulblets surrounding the original
bulb. I would like to separate two of these offshoots and transplant
them. Thanks for your help.
