Tigridia pavonia from seed

Thanks Gene. As I am growing the totally white one, which flowered and
set seed this summer, and I want one more season of pure seed from it,
having these flowering the second season would suit me very well.

I grow most of my bulb seedlings fairly crowded for the first year, because they develop so slowly and don’t need a lot of room. But Tigridia will bloom in the first season from seed, if you keep it happy. If you choose to crowd them, you will get good bulbs for next year, but they probably won’t bloom this year.
