> ...a diluted mixture of sulphuric > acid ( H2SO4). > ... muriatic acid (hydrochloric acid) (swimming pool acid).... > ... concentrated acetic acid.... Before people not familiar with these acids try them on weeds, please reconsider. They are highly corrosive to everything - including YOU - and should not be used without proper skin and eye protection. What they do to the weeds they will do to you. They will dissolve cotton, rayon and polyester clothing - quickly. I know how to handle such things but I would not take such risks for weeds. Vinegar is diluted acetic acid, and even the 5% solution burns the weeds. It is less harmful to humans than the other acids mentioned. Have you splashed vinegar in your eye while cooking or eating?
