Titan Arum in Flower

These are becoming less rare; we've had 8 blooms so far in the past 7
years. In fact, we sell them as house plants; many report they are
doing great for them. You can own your own; we happen to have a nice
large 2.5lb dormant tuber at the moment.

"That’s because the Titan Arum flower is not only rare – fewer than 200
have bloomed in cultivation and Ohio is home to only three other such
flowers – but it’s huge – 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide."

I must go kill myself now.

Some glimpses of this truly sculptural flower, and too much of people
trying to find a more familiar comparison for the stench

Judy in New Jersey where we've had 1.70 inches of rain in the last 15
hours.
