Amana edulis

Around 15 years ago I bought 3 bulbs of Amana edulis (syn. Tulipa
edulis), and 2 years ago I planted it (with some increase) into the
open garden. Since then it has spread a bit, apparently by stolons.
In all these years it has never flowered.

Do any of you grow it? And more to the point, have any of you
flowered it? I wonder if it requires a hotter summer than it gets here.
