unknown bulb

Wrong colour, Roland, the photo is pretty much the right colour. The
leaves are very long, about 30 cms.

It must have been brought in from plant material.

If it is a Romulea, does it go dormant in the winter? Green all year
round? I know nothing about them. When it finishes flowering (there is
another bud coming) I will pot it up, so I can keep an eye on any
seeding problems. Will check what the bulb looks like then. It sounds
like it could be a problem.
