Very interested to note that your nerines are flowering 2nd week in Nov. as ours were very early this year with those named varieties flowering here 1st week October. We have a theory: that nerine flowering is triggered by day/night temperature fluctuation.... so my question is this: Where you are when did the day/night temperatures start to fluctuate with significant night-time lows.... we think 15-20 degrees over three or more nights starts the flower spike to grow.... but we don't really have a clue. We don't think it is to do with light levels, it might be to do with humidity but that would have to be subtle. We know glasshouse/greenhouse height plays a part- ours is high and airy and thus we flowered 3 weeks earlier than those kept at RHS Wisley where the glasshouse height is a couple of meters lower.
