Labelling seeds Was: sowing Moraea seeds

That's fine but what do you do when rats dig up the bulbs and spread them
among adjacent pots in the process? Labels may survive but the identities
have been mixed.

Roland has plant show attendees moving his labels, and Randy has banned
small children. In addition to these nuisances, I had a flock of crows
invade a raised bed once, and they plucked out and tossed the labels all
about. Took me years to get the collection sorted.
After that I adopted Roland's "buried backup label" system, using the seed
pot labels for that purpose.

I like it.
I have banned small children from the collection. I once got a
collection of named Pacific coast hybrid irises totally scrambled by a pair
of urchins.
