OK I will just have to wait and see!
I really like the idea of this spcies naturalizing.I am sure it could seeing how common it is in its native habitat and over such a huge altitude range too.

I grew C boryi from seed and have bought corms, they are in pots in open
sand plunges. I have seen a few seeds but unfortunately I rarely find them
untill repotting, so the seeds don't get the attention they deserve. As the
corms are in pots and being repotted I have not seen any self sown plants
yet but most crocus seed tends to germinate and I expect seedlings will
soon show in the sand, or else where I throw the seed into the border. I
have only had this garden for five years, it is mostly bulb frame for the
time when I move to a bigger garden so I don't have many of my plants in
the ground."
