H. kilber is a dyed Hippeastrum used specifically for the cut flower
market, there are several others as well that are dyed fun colors as well.
As most of you know, yellow isn't well expressed in Hippeastrum. The
purest yellows that aren't chemically altered are those bred by Komoriya
and are hardly anything more than a pale yellow.
