A few days ago I was looking at Manning and Goldblatt's Encyclopedia of Cape Bulbs and noticed that there was no Lapeirousia silenoides listed. Where has it gone? Goldblatt did a revision of Lapeirousia and maybe he rejected it. If so, there was no indication of that in the book and nothing about it under 'Synonyms'. They also say there are 15 Lapeirousia species and they give descriptions of 15. I also note that the Wiki does include L. silenoides. Does anyone know the underlying history? Thanks Andrew San Diego
