Dear Friends, With our unusual warm weather Galanthus have started to bloom The first was Glanthus elwesii var monostictus. The tall stems and broad leaves make a very nice combination. No bloom yet on typical G. nivalis single or double, but a number of cvs that are probably based on nivalis are in bloom - at least 3 or 4 and others just emerging. Although snow drops are always early this is extra early. A couple other species are not yet blooming Best Jim W. -- Dr. James W. Waddick 8871 NW Brostrom Rd.
