Eudora Welty's plea to the rodents

Enjoyed it much as well. I pretty much only plant Amaryllids in the ground
as the gophers only move them.

Hoping the promised rain comes to Monterey Bay region the end of this week.
My winter bulb pots are all hand watered when there is no rain.

Jim,

O little rodent,
I wish you wo'dn't!

I think that sums it all up beautifully. I think
we've all more or less thought that at some
point, whichever country we're in and whichever
rodent we're dealing with (I'm forever thankful I
don't have squirrels, even if the red ones are SOOOOO cute!! <grin>).

Thanks for a great chuckle.

Cheers.
