Hi all,

We have this year had some first-ever blooms on some of the hybrids Jim
Waddick imported a few years ago.

Lycoris [x-haywardii X chinensis] is a primrose yellow, smaller version of
chinensis.

L. [chinensis X x-haywradii] has bloomed for at least two years now, and is
a light pink-mauve wiht form somewhat more like sprengeri than like
chinensis; its flowers are also smaller than those of chinensis.

L. [longituba X rosea] bloomed a couple weeks ago, a large, light pink
flower with the spidery look a little like chinenesis.

The Chinese named hybrids, like 'Sky Beyond Sky', are just starting to send
up scapes.
