I grew it about thirty years ago. I had been stationed at an Army post in central Texas for a year. I spent every spare moment out in the field collecting flora and fauna (don't ask). I collected lots of seed of Nemastylis, and grew it on when I got home. I was just learning about the other Tigridia relatives back then. Eustoma was also common there: what a sight these were, three feet high with loads of bloom, not much like the wimps sold in garden centers. Jim McKenney
