Hi group, I added 2 photos of Triteleia grandiflora ssp. howellii, grown from Jane McGary's bulb offering a few years back. The photos are from 2004, showing a young inflorescence, but the flower heads were even more beautiful and impressive this year. This form is an ice blue color. I grow it under a Fringe Tree (Chionanthus virginicus) using my theory of planting bulbous plants at the base of deep-rooted shrubs and trees, in circles around the tree that I call "tree rings". This Trit bloomed in June. http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/… Mark McDonough Pepperell, Massachusetts, United States antennaria@aol.com "New England" USDA Zone 5 ============================================== >> web site under construction - http://www.plantbuzz.com/ << alliums, bulbs, penstemons, hardy hibiscus, western american alpines, iris, plants of all types!
