Hi Jim McK.,

Several years ago we had a discussion of the identity of Gladiolus
x-gandavensis in the former IBS BULB list. There was not a complete
consensus, but most folks seemed to think it was the same as Gladiolus
dalenii primulinus. Seed I received as primulinus bloomed this year, and
looks a lot like my "x-gandavensis" which are also in bloom now.

What species went into making those original gandavensis hybrids? The
yellow glads I have blooming look like light yellow dalenii.
