On sources for Allium cernuum, the NARGS seed exchange always offers seeds
of various forms of this common American onion -- small, large, white,
pink, purple -- and they are extremely easy to grow from seed.

If you are not a member, you can find out about joining NARGS at http://www.nargs.org/

As a follow up to Jane's remarks, I found a nice pinkish clump in flower a
couple of weeks ago in the interstate median not far from me. If you remind
me, I'll look for seeds in another week or two.
