Canarina canariensis

Dear John:
The root of Canarina canariensis is like a fat carrot or parsnip, quite
substantial but not like a dahlia and certainly not a bulb. I haven't tried
eating the fruit, but I will do so this year!
Diana
does C canariensis have such a rootstock or is it just fleshy and not a
bulb in senso lato? I presume you know the fruit is an edible berry, I
have never eaten one, have you? Cheers, John E. Bryan
