Scilla, Ledebouria and Unknown

Help! I need some expert advice regarding asexual propagation of these
bulbs. I have a 2" diameter Drimia sp. from Somalia that lost its basal
plate and central shoot, or bud this winter - probably due to cold and
excess moisture. Except for the vertical hole which is now through the
middle of it, the rest of the bulb is firm and appears to be healthy. Are
these species amenable to scaling methods of propagation?
