Mary Sue Ittner recently asked, "What is the botanical name for Roman
Hyacinths or French Roman Hyacinths?
I'm really interested in what you are talking about and hope you will post
a picture on the wiki. I must confess to a lot of confusion over the
genera
Hyacinthella, Hyacinthoides and Hyacinthus."
The botanical name for Roman Hyacinths seems to still be Hyacinthus
orientalis albulus. I posted an image of the blue form (certainly the most
common one still found as an heirloom bulb) on the wiki at

pg
Hope it's not too garish looking.
