It is really early for N. bowdenii to bloom now in your summer, but it is the time for N. krigei. I haven't noticed any forms of N. bowdenii with a twist to the leaf. I don't know the 'wellsii' form though.

There is also a form of N. laticoma that has a slight spiral twist - my plants are about three years old now, perhaps the spiral becomes more lax with age, I will have to see!
