At 11:15 PM 7/27/2004 EDT, Mark McDonough quoted tsuh yang:

just a small observation... messages with the subject
"naked ladies" and "naked boys" tend to rouse
suspicion, and i'm sure, sometimes get filtered out by
the spam filters... perhaps we should find another
subject line! :-)

and then wrote:

Perhaps "clothing challenged ladies" or "clothing challenged boys".

In a posting made July 26 under the subject "Naked lady nomenclature", I
made another suggestion which perhaps was not noticed in my signature.

No, I did not make that word up, and it has a long history of usage. My
guess is that only an entomologist would guess its meaning off the bat; but
there it is, available to anyone who wants to use it.

reads in seventeen-year cicada country must have encountered the
entomological version of the word during the last few months.
