Thanks for the compliment, Dennis. That photo was taken with a hand-held
Cannon Digital Rebel under relatively low light conditions. The settings
were manual rather than automatic. No special lenses were used - just the
one which came with the camera. I've been very satisfied with what I can do
with this camera.
I think a bit of luck was involved, too!
Well it looked quite professional. (Andre Agassi would be proud. LOL!) I
also find luck is a factor with my "best shots" too. One of my favorites
is a photo of Iris versicolor that I snapped right as a bumblebee was
landing on it. It's one of my all time faves, and there was no way I could
have planned it!
