I had read this morning (in a work published in 1959) that the diet of
giant pandas includes crocus. I doubted that the ranges overlapped, but
you've provided the "proof".

I grew Crocus alatavicus years ago - a big white C. korolkowii, and very
nice, too. If I ever digitize my slide collection, I'll post a photo.
