Boophone pictures

Hi all,

Dirk Wallace who is now back online has added some gorgeous Boophone
pictures to the pbs wiki to go with Rob Hamilton's. My husband and I loved
looked at the leaves of these in South Africa when we were there and
hearing Rhoda tells us about how old they could get. (more than 100 years
old.) But I've never seen one blooming and they are really beautiful. I
once had one from Diana Chapman and Telos as a mystery bulb for finding the
mistake in her catalog and killed it. Now that I see how beautiful the
flowers are I am doubly sad.

That Ken can grow it outside in the San Francisco Bay area makes me hopeful.
