Open Garden

My garden is open to the public weekends through May 5. Public hours are Sat
Sun Mon 11am-5pm. Needless to say if any of you are from out of town, and
find yourself in the San Jose area and would like to tour the garden, call

We have 1 1/2 acre, no lawn, just plants.
There are over 800 different Bearded Iris hybrids, around 80 Pacific Coast
hybrids, about 100 Spuria, Siberian, Louisiana, Japanese and species Iris.
There are 60 Rose bushes, 30 fruit trees, vegetable garden, herb garden, lots
of bulbs, about 1000 narcissus poeticus 'phesant's eye' should be blooming
within a week or so, hard to tell with this weather. Many other plants to
numerous to mention. Chickens, ducks, a pond etc.
You are all invited to come anytime but this is the main bloom season for the
iris.

From the 101 or 280 or 880/17 get on the 85, exit Union Ave south, toward
hills (first exit southeast of 17-85 intersection)
Exit Union Ave south, Three lights to a left turn on Blossom Hill Rd.
Two traffic lights to a right turn on Harwood, south toward the hills.
At second stop sign, our garden is through the iron gates on the left, go
through sign and turn left into parking on our property behind house.
