"Tender" bulbs in cold Climes
James Waddick (Tue, 08 Apr 2003 12:33:18 PDT)

I don't have a greenhouse or cold frames but all the
tender plants that I grow in Ohio (Canton area) are in
the ground so I think that would apply.

Dear John;
If these 'tender bulbs' are in the ground (not pots), aren't
they "hardy bulbs'?

What Zone or minimum temperature is this Ohio garden? And I'd
wonder about long term hardiness for something planted in '01 or '02??

Good luck. I' really like to hear more of such results as you offer.
