[BULBS-L] [pbs] Morea huttonia

Jim,
We have this plant growing at the Cologne Flora (botanical garden) in the
cool greenhouse. It is apparently not reliably winter hardy in out Zone 8
climate. I have not tried it myself, so this is just an anecdotal
observation. It could be no one wishes to tend it outside, being sensitive!
It has reliably increased in the somewhat sandy soil, planted in half sun.
Although a fascinating flower in a close-up, it's not very showy. Still a
charmer.

Dear all;
Does anyone grow this plant and can comment on its hardiness?
It looks sort of like an odd Iris pseudacorus and gets about 4 ft
tall in Kew.
Appreciate your thoughts. Jim W.
