Sorry about off-topic

Hi all,
Sorry about the second email going out widely, it wasn't meant to ('twas intended for Jim alone in response to his remark about casual mention of venomous snakes).
The first one was to provide an antipodean snapshot of garden life as I have rather enjoyed the reports of moose vs trees, groundhogs not liking spiked sauerkraut etc. We certainly seem to garden in very diverse places.
Will only talk bulbs now!

(for those interested, hills above the plains of Adelaide, South Australia - Zone 9 but slightly more rainfall and about 2 degrees cooler and frostier than the plains. I am a climate zone denier and attempt zone 8 flora.)

Leo, in this case I will have to check for the tusks when the boys are

Escaped domestic or 'pet' pigs will revert back to their wild state
in a relatively short time.
And that doesn't mean the next generation - the actual escapee will
begin to grow hair and tusks in the wild.
That happens to male humans also.
