bulbocodium type daffodils out side if he can give them a fairly dry
Autumn.

Dear Peter and all,

I do live in a challenging climate, but I should have admitted that I have had occasional success with N. bulbocodium, but it is a combination of microclimate and that year’s weather. Planting in the exact right spot and having cooperative rain fall, first frost and winter lows make these very iffy. I can grow most in my cool Greenhouse. Thanks for the comments. Best Jim
