i have definitely noticed Dell posting at all hours of the day to minimize favoritism to people in his time zone (like me!). i've been out at the bars late at night and had a BX appear in my in box (via my smart phone). do you know how hard it is to pick what you want in that environment?? especially if i have a designated driver with me? :-) to be honest, i've had sparse participation in the BX for a long while now. i generally look for keywords like Manfreda, Polianthes, Caliphruria, and then browse the Iridaceae & Gesneriaceae selections. i'm so attached to my phone that i almost always catch the BX in time before the "all seeds are sold" announcement. i'm impressed at how Dell has managed to do such a flawless job for such a very long time now. and now that he lives in driving distance, i'm tempted to impose & ask for a visit. (then again i've been saying the same of Jim Shields for like 10 years now & it hasn't happened.... and i *know* he has Caliphruria!) ;-) Dennis in Cincinnati
