Adam We are not set up for major mail order and so don't ship most things that are in growth. Also, we can only ship bare root (which I don't personally care for many things). However, shipping dormant geophytes has proven relatively easy, and I've also shipped a number of cacti and succulents (also agaves) since they are easy bareroot. I'm in the process of putting together a list of our geophytes and the availability of cacti and succulents can be found on our website at all times (see CHECK CURRENT PLANT AVAILABILITY). In addition we have some terrific young palms and cycads coming along (e.g.,the relatively rare Encephalortos caffer). Speaking of geophytes, our second titan arum bloom for the year started opening about 1 hr ago this evening and should be in full force ('stench') tomorrow morning. I may pollinate this one to supplement the seedlings we now have (which we've been selling as a houseplant--they are doing fine in a number of homes). This work is being done to raise funds to support the Garden collection, which I have recently determined is one of the most diverse in North America. We are preparing an article on our South African geophyte collection for an upcoming issue of The Bulb. Paul Paul Licht, Director Univ.
