Dear Mark and all, This reminds me of other tries and losses: Hedychium never did well in pots for me and died in the ground. Tried 3 or 4 sorts. Roscoea - can't tell how many of these I've grown from seed or plants and killed. Nothing even close although I have seen them growing lushly in just slightly warmer climates. Never tried Cautleya, but would appreciate experience from other growers. Googling suggests Zone 7 and warmer. Anyone grow it in colder climates. Best Jim W. -- Dr. James W.
