What's the deal with Hippeastrum arboricolum?

Believe me, you were plenty help :) I've heard several sources say that
"abricolum" was nothing more than a previously named H. petiolatum. Does anyone
have any evidence of H. Petiolatum growing epiphytically? I can't seem to find
anything!
