It sounds like my experience here with Tricyrtis macrantha, where a plant in a big cement pot is thriving and should be magnificent this fall. If you don't know this species, try to imagine a Polygonatum with big, Fritillaria like drooping yellow flowers profusely spotted red inside. It's the best!
