Jim and David,

Thank you so much for great feedback on my questions. I wasn't sure if
Schijff was a Dutch surname or not, but I do know some Danish and Afrikaans
speakers here in Berkeley who certainly could point me in the right
direction. Also, what a wonderful idea to call and hear it from the
professor too.

Robert, it's great to hear that you are growing this species and helpful to
know that six year old bulbs haven't bloomed yet. I think it is a lovely
species, perhaps because I have a thing for appressed leaves.

Dennis and Roland, our discussion board does get abused from time to time
with off topic rambles but my post here was very much on topic and
appropriate.
