Hi All (particularly Rodger), even I...a Northern California Native...was semi-astounded to see 2 very large clusters of Amaryllis Belladonna flowering in the Emeryville marshlands next to the Toll Plaza approach of the SF Bay Bridge (Westbound I-80)...growing at what had to be, like, 12" inches above Sea Level. That they've grown & flowered vigorously for years in a salt marsh has got to be testament to their toughness...or at least to their Ph tolerance! -David (San Francisco & Sacramento)
