Native Bulb for Prairies

Hi Chris:
Several Sisyrinchium sp. come to mind. I don't know if Herbertia makes
it over to the black lands or not. Hymenocallis were growing wild on
the banks of the Trinity just south of College Station. Lilium species
(or perhaps they are more East Texas). Ditto Iris virginica var.
shrevei.
Nothoscordum bivalve is a bulb that I know grows on the black lands, but
I am not a big fan.
