Hey Marie :) If I get any luck with my seed I told Ton I would send him some when they're large enough but I would be more than willing to send you some as well :) Especially in your climate I think you could be successful in growing these! :) I'm glad you've posted, I was once really nervous to post here and finally I decided that it was silly to think so, we all have to start somewhere :) I'm jumping in with both feet as Lee Poulsen says :) Josh Anderson, IN (not nearly as hot as yesterday! ) ________________________________ From: Denise Marie Ortiz <desertdenial@hotmail.com> To: pbs@lists.ibiblio.org Sent: Thu, August 5, 2010 10:24:38 AM Subject: Re: [pbs] Hesperocallis undulata I have tried several times to start from seeds and finally got brave enough to post here and ask if anyone knew of a source for bulbs. I see that it is seems to be difficult to germinate let alone keep a bulb alive. I think I will keep trying though. I have tried direct sowing and not had any luck either. As for our rain fall here in the desert, it is so unpredictable. We have had hardly any rain this monsoon and some areas have received none while right across the streeet you might get an inch.
