Spring is on its way in the southern hemisphere and my six bulbs of S puniceus are coming into flower. They are from three different sources and there are subtle differences in the flowers. I understand there are several varieties - "Alba" , "Natalensis" , " Magnificus" also one of mine was sold as "East Cape".
