Thanks, Mark. That's just the sort of response I was hoping for.
Funny you should mention Lapeirousia or Geissorhiza: only last night I was
looking at a price list and was eying the Geissorhiza.
I used to think it was a case of so many plants, so little time; I'm
beginning to realize that it's really a matter of so little room.

Montgomery County, Maryland, USA, USDA zone 7, where I just counted over
fifty clumps of garden hellebores in bloom; many of these are home grown
from seed, and some of these have not been disturbed in over thirty years
and are full of bloom.
