Asarum hartwegii Seed

Hi,
just received some seed of Asarum hartwegii from Ron Ratko. Reading thru
literature - Norman C. Deno and John E. Bryan -Bulbs- germination is
difficult.Looking at the seed, prior soaking may be helpful?? Any help
is appreciated.
