I failed to mention that seeds of this species are offered on the
SIGNA (Species iris Group of North America) web site as part of the annual
seed exchange. I am one of the co-chairs. Seeds are only available to
members, but membership is as low as $6/yr. Nearly 400 items available
although a few are already sold out including several dozen non-Iris Irids.
