Yet another fairly benign insecticide is one finger Murphy's Soap,
two
fingers isopropyl in up to a quart of water. I use it on mealies on my
orchids and hippeastrum. Isopropyl is phyto-toxic so for indoor plants,
it
is prudent to flush the soil occasionally.
