It also got me thinking about our dilemma of so few new people coming to the bulb world and developing a lifelong avocation. In the "Old Days", and older days than that, there was no Internet and still gardening clubs thrived, at least during some periods. All I hear about (and see) now when I go to meetings of various plant societies is a dwindling membership and the mean age of members rising. This has been true for decades, even with the ascent of online resources and inspirational photos. I am hopeful that groups like PBS will help to establish and reinvigorate local clubs that are the heart of horticultural activity. The wiki and other aspects of PBS are very important for inspiration and sharing knowledge and they should be a compliment to "on the ground" activity rather than a substitute. Dylan
