Hello Denys:

Spraying with ethylic alcohol (the one used for rubbing and for vodka, whisky, bourbon, etc.) is most effective. It scorches any bug instantly, including cockroaches. You will probably have to repeat the treatment for the odd bug but all reached by the spray will die immediately. Of course it will be difficult with wind.
