A quarter-page obituary in this morning's Washington Post caught my eye: Donald F. Hornig, who helped develop the atomic bomb, served on advisory panels for four presidents and who was named president of Brown University in 1970 - among a lifetime of other accomplishments, died in Providence Rhode Island on January 21.
He was, of course, also the father of list member Ellen Hornig.
