Once that prediction page is up one
may click quite precisely on one's location on a map on the right side of the
page for a
more accurate prediction.
That may work where it's flat, but not in mountainous areas. I live in Redwood
City, CA; downtown, where the temperature is recorded, is low and near the Bay;
I live up in the hills where it is noticeably colder and windier (usually). On
the other hand, there have been days here when it was quite hot but you needed a
hat and jacket to go to the ocean side of the peninsula just a few miles away.
