Less liked than orange?

This is odd, because I read that yellow houses sell the quickest in
North America.

People do make comments about the many yellow daisies of midsummer,
but I have never heard a complaint about too many daffodils. When I
look through plant books, the most appealing pictures are ones with
lots of green and small bits of bright colours - rather like an
alpine meadow. That is the general effect of most bulb plantings -
except for solid blocks of tulips and hyacinths in public parks.
